Guide for Reserving and Purchasing Your New Puppy

If you are interested in reserving and purchasing one of our Red or Apricot Poodle puppies, please read this guide, which explains our procedures. This will ensure you know how we operate as well as what to expect at every stage of the process. By understanding this guide, your puppy-buying process will run smoothly, and you’ll always know what to expect on our end.

Step 1. Please complete and submit your Puppy Application. The information on this application is vital to us in determining if your home is a good fit for one of our Poodle puppies.

Step 2. Wait for approval. This can take up to 48 hours, as we screen our applicants carefully to ensure we have a puppy that will meet their needs. Please be patient, as we are working to ensure your happiness as well as the long-term placement of the puppy. In the meantime, please feel free to look through our available Poodle puppies*.

*A note about photos of our available litters: Our policy is not to photograph our puppies until they are at least eight weeks old. Therefore, we have many puppies that will be available for future purchase that are not pictured on our website. We update photos on the website as often as possible, but often, puppies are reserved before photos are taken or displayed. Please contact us with any question you have about our currently available dogs, and you can see photos of our many former puppies on our website, as well.

Step 3. We will send you an email regarding your approval status, and if you are approved, you may then reserve a puppy. We will send you instructions for submitting a deposit in your approval email.

Step 4. Before committing to reserving a Poodle puppy or coming to visit, be sure that all members of your family are in agreement as to what you want in your pet. Discuss sex, size, and color, as well as when you are ready to bring your new puppy home. Having clear agreement about all these details before reserving or visiting will ensure a smooth process for everyone.

Step 5. Understand that showing interest in a puppy does not mean that puppy is held for you. A $300 deposit** is required if you would like for a puppy to be held specifically for you until you can come to visit or to pick up your puppy. No deposit, no hold.
**Deposits are non-refundable. If the puppy does not meet your needs, you may transfer your deposit to the next available puppy that fits your criteria.

Step 6. Come visit your possible puppy. Once approved, you are welcome to make an appointment to visit our puppies between 12-2 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. All appointments are one hour long. You may visit without placing a deposit on a specific puppy, but if you find a puppy you like, and it has already been reserved, you may not purchase that puppy. A deposit is the only way to guarantee the availability of a specific puppy.

Please be patient throughout the process. We strive to make the best possible match between puppy and family. We know you are excited to meet your furry friend, and we do everything we can to make this process clear, easy, and free of stress. Please refer to this guide often when you have questions, and please know we are working hard to provide you with the best new companion.
